Enhanced AI Security Capabilities from FireTail

FireTail’s latest platform release introduces an exciting array of new enhancements and improvements. These updates unlock a long list of new capabilities and benefits for improving your AI security posture.

Enhanced AI Security Capabilities from FireTail

AI is everywhere but it’s not always secure. From unauthorized data exposure to shadow AI services running under the radar, most enterprises are flying blind.

That’s why we built FireTail: the first code-to-cloud AI security platform that gives security and dev teams the tools they need to discover, document, and defend AI innovation from code to cloud. Our latest platform update brings expanded discovery, monitoring, and detection features across Azure, AWS, GitHub, and more. Let’s take a look.

AI Dashboard

It’s here. This update delivers a comprehensive AI dashboard that monitors all AI services, uses, tokens, connections and interactions. FireTail customers have enjoyed access to a similar API dashboard for all their API activity, and now they can monitor their AI activity in real-time, too.

You can’t secure what you can’t see. FireTail now gives you real-time AI activity monitoring, down to every token, every service, every interaction.

Azure AI Discovery

FireTail will now scan for AI resources across any existing Azure integrations. Additionally, Azure AI has added new services: Azure AI Service and Azure OpenAI service. The advanced scanning capabilities will help ensure the security of your AI across integrations and platforms easier than ever before and bring us closer to strong, centralized AI security for all.

AWS Scanning

In addition to our expanded Azure capabilities, FireTail has also increased the scope of our AWS scanning with new permissions. Our AWS scanning now covers cloudwatch:ListMetrics, cloudwatch:GetMetricData, and Amazon SageMaker. With the list growing longer with each update, FireTail is striving for full, unlimited scanning across your environments and repositories.

Findings

With our new AI Findings tab, FireTail now surfaces anomalies in token usage, latency spikes, stop reasons, and secret exposures—like PII, API keys, and access tokens from services like AWS, Stripe, GitHub, and more. Each finding comes with customizable filters, tags, and historical views to streamline investigations.

FireTail has also added additional filters for findings (such as CVE ID, CWE ID, CVSS Score), filter operators, tags to categorize findings, and a history function for all scanning integrations.

These additions will make it easier for security teams to find and log different types of AI secrets, tokens, and more.

Reports

We have also added the following new and relevant reports on AI security to give developers and teams alike the most current information on the landscape for their reference:

  • OpenAI Resources Report
  • Github AI Resource Scanning Service Report
  • Gitlab AI Resource Scanning Service Report
  • AWS Bedrock AI Resources Report
  • Azure AI Service Report
  • Azure OpenAI Service Report

All of these reports contain up-to-date and bleeding edge information on AI in 2025 that is pertinent to both developers and security teams. On top of the reports, we’ve added categories to our reporting feature for easier filtering.

Finally, FireTail has fixed bugs that affected the site previously, and updated our platform’s UI for the best possible customer experience.

In the weeks and months ahead, we’ll be delivering lots of new features and capabilities aimed at helping you to keep your AI initiatives secure. Stay tuned to our changelog to get the drop on future updates first.
